The man arrested following a shooting at a Buffalo medical clinic now officially faces multiple charges including one count of second-degree murder and four counts of attempted murder. At a press conference following the charges Wright County Sheriff Sean Deringer credited people inside the building with saving even more people from harm.

“Did an excellent job of barricading themselves in locked offices, closed offices. They were able to grab whatever people they could. Other people ran out of the building. Through hallways to an empty building, but the suspect himself did call 911 and surrender in the lobby of that building.”

One person was killed in the shooting and four others were injured when Gregory Ulrich (yule-rick) allegedly opened fire in the building on Tuesday afternoon.
