Not the news football fans want to hear as we head into Super Bowl weekend:
“This is probably not the year to have a Superbowl party.”
The state Health Department’s Kris Ehressman says even though COVID-19 cases continue to decline, there is still widespread circulation:
“Fortunately, we don’t have to feel bad because the Vikings aren’t in the Super Bowl so it takes some of the pressure off. But I think I think with the pandemic on-going that we would still be asking people to re-consider gathering.”
Ehresmann says if you do choose to host a party be sure to mask up and practice social distancing, along with food safety.
