More than 226-thousand people 65-years old and older have signed up for Minnesota’s first coronavirus vaccination lottery. State epidemiologist Kris Ehresmann has this reminder:

“The vaccine lottery system is just one of the ways that we’re getting vaccines out to our 65-plus population, we are also working to get vaccines to clinics and healthcare systems so they can begin vaccinating their patients because we know they like to be vaccinated in their medical homes.”

The state Health Department reports today that 301,290 Minnesotans have received one dose of the COVID vaccination and 73,304 have received both doses.
