A tiger at a wildcat sanctuary in Minnesota has recovered this week after it was discovered to have COVID-19. State Veterinarian Beth Thompson says the development of the virus in an animal has *no* impact on the overall spread of the virus in humans.

“There is no evidence that suggest any animals, whether it is pets or livestock, can spread the virus to people.”

This is the second animal to be found sick with the virus, the second was a house cat last spring.
