All members of the Minnesota House Republican Caucus have issued a letter condemning not only last week’s violence on Washington D-C but also violent rhetoric at a protest that same day outside the Minnesota State Capitol:

A small group of four Republican lawmakers called the “New House Republican Caucus” say while they were at the rally, there was no “violent rhetoric” and no “threats of violence.”

Rep. Jeremy Munson of Lake Crystal was there as was Rep. Susan Akland of St. Peter. Akland has apologized for any comments she made. DFLers are calling for all of those lawmakers who attended to resign or face expulsion if they don’t denounce their actions.
