As the Democrat-controlled U-S House prepares to impeach President Trump a second time, Governor Tim Walz says about last week’s events:

“An equivalency of a coup on the United States government. I’ve not heard the word: President Trump fermented sedition. It would help to hear that.”

House Republican Minority Leader Kurt Daudt says the U-S House will have to answer the question of whether Trump should be impeached, but he’s “going to resist debate to defend our president”:

“The president needed to come out sooner during those riots and denounce it and call people off, and I don’t think that his words were strong enough or soon enough.”

House Speaker, Democrat Melissa Hortman says:

“What the president of the United States was doing was inciting people to overthrow the government by force. Yeah, he’s not fit to serve for a single additional second.”
