Changes to garbage and recycling pick-up over the holidays

Upcoming holiday observances will affect garbage and recycling pickups in the city of Mankato:

New Year’s Day, January 1

• No garbage and recycling pick-up on Friday.
• Friday’s garbage and recyclables will be picked up Saturday.

Martin Luther King, Jr. Day, January 18

No garbage and recycling pick-up on Monday. It will be picked up the following day.
