Governor Tim Walz today (Tues) unveils the early-stage plan for distributing COVID vaccines in Minnesota — and he says a bipartisan group of lawmakers will join him for the presentation:

“It’s my hope… that we are bringing that sense of one Minnesota tackling this together back to you in terms of where we go with the vaccine.”

It’s expected health care workers and nursing homes will be first in line, although there won’t be enough in early shipments to vaccine all of them. Other groups are jostling to be in the second group, including first responders, teachers and some Republican lawmakers. Walz talks at 1:30 this afternoon. We will carry his press conference live right here on KTOE.
