The Minnesota Department of Health is adding two new qualifying conditions for participation in the medical cannabis program–and a third is under consideration for next year…

“Sickle cell disease and vocal and motor tick disorder and anxiety, we need to learn a little bit more about anxiety and how cannabis does or doesn’t impact anxiety disorder.”

Director of the State Office of Medical Cannabis Chris Tholkes (THOAL-kiss). Under state law, the new qualifying conditions will take effect in August 2021. They are being added to the list that already includes cancer associated with severe/chronic pain, glaucoma and intractable pain.
