It’s Black Friday and many of us will be looking for deals online. The Better Business Bureau’s Bao Vang says scams are on the rise this time of year and she recommends:

“Research before you buy, 57% of those who didn’t research the website or business, using an independent source, like BBB.org or other places before aking the purchase, well 81% of them lost money, don’t be one of them.”

Consumers are predicted to spend just under $1,000 each this holiday season on friends and loved ones, according to the National Retail Federation. And due to the COVID-19 pandemic, most consumers are expected to do some or all of their holiday shopping online.
