To help curb the spread of COVID-19, U.S. Senator Tina Smith says a national strategy to increase testing of both symptomatic and asymptomatic people is needed, along with ensuring timely test results and contact tracing:

“My frustration being here in Washington has been the lack of a federal plan and the administration’s unwillingness to be the leaders that we need at this moment. I’m very encouraged by the first steps were seeing in the Biden Administration.”

Smith says this is the only way to slow the spread of coronavirus and get the economy back in full swing.
