The Minnesota Medical Association (MMA) is urging Minnesotans to “buckle down” and stay in as much as possible in the coming days.

“I know that this has been a politicized pandemic and that has been very, very, very unfortunate but right now we are having really uncontrolled spread in our state and the surrounding states, things are not looking good in Minnesota.”

MMA President Marilyn Peitso says health care workers are nearing their breaking point and that surging numbers of COVID cases have them at a “near crisis” point.
