With COVID-19 cases continuing to spike in Minnesota, health officials are renewing their call for people to act responsibly. Minnesota Medical Association President Marilyn Pietso says:

“More limited restrictions are likely to impact the rate of rise in a much more efficient way, while still allowing commerce to go on and schools to go on etcetera.”

The state health department reported 7,444 newly-reported positive COVID-19 tests on Monday and so far 2,917 people have died from the coronavirus in Minnesota.
