Some Minnesota schools are having to close due to the alarming rise in the number of COVID-19 cases around the state.   Education Minnesota President Denise Specht is asking every Minnesotan to do their part, to help slow the spread, she says kids learning needs to come first:

“When you have the adults in the school either out on quarantine or out sick themselves, it becomes very difficult to run a school.”

Spect says to wear a mask. Keep your distance. Stay home when you can. Get tested if you need it. She says those are the choices that matter now. If you won’t do it for yourself, do it for your local students.
