Health Commissioner Jan Malcolm urges Minnesotans to redouble their efforts on COVID safety precautions, at a time when I-C-U capacity at Twin Cities hospitals is particularly limited:

“Part of why you just keep hearing us stress the importance of doing all that we collectively can to help protect this capacity, by doing what we can to slow down community spread, which is clearly driving these issues.”

Malcolm says statewide I-C-U capacity is a little better than the metro area, but it also fluctuates — daily if not hourly.
