Around 78-percent of eligible Minnesota voters voted in Tuesday’s election. That’s according to Secretary of State Steve Simon. He says that’s an impressive number considering we’re in the middle of a pandemic…

“People really took seriously the opportunity this year to vote in different ways and going forward into the future it will be interesting to see if they whether they go back to their old traditional ways of voting or continue voting by absentee either in person or from home.”

Simon says there around 4.1 eligible voters in Minnesota. The record high for voter turnout in Minnesota is 83-percent set in the 1956 presidential election.
