It appears the Minnesota Legislature will stay divided for at least another two years. Although many votes are still being counted it looks like Republicans will maintain control of the Minnesota Senate and Democrats will keep control of the House. Lt. Governor Peggy Flanagan:
“The governor and I are constitutional officers. We are going to make sure that every single vote is counted and you can be confident in our election system here in MN.”
As it stands, Republicans will keep their two-seat majority in the Senate and pick up a few seats in the House, though not enough to take the majority.
