Carleton College analyst Steven Schier says in the presidential race in Minnesota it appears Joe Biden has a lead   — but not a big one, and turnout could move it either way:

“If we are to believe the surveys, most Trump supporters and Republicans are planning to vote on Election Day.”

Schier adds for the first time in many years, Republicans have a “very aggressive ground game” funded by the Trump campaign — much of it in rural Minnesota:

“Another thing that’s happened this year is the Democrats in Minnesota have not been doing door-knocking. They’ve been avoiding that because of the pandemic.”

Schier says Republicans, on the other hand, *have* been door-knocking.
