The Minnesota Department of Health reported the largest single-day total of newly confirmed COVID cases today at just over 28-hundred. Commissioner Jan Malcolm fears these records for case numbers will continue to be broken.
Sample collection dates for the newly reported cases fall largely between October 21st and October 26th. During that span, the state has completed an average of more than 22-thousand tests per day. Statewide the survival rate for COVID-19 is over 98 percent.
