On day two of the Senate hearing for Supreme Court nominee Judge Amy Coney Barrett. Minnesota Democrat Amy Klobuchar asked Barrett…

Klobuchar: Do you think we should take the president at his word when he says his nominee will do the right thing and overturn the affordable care act?

Barrett: Senator Klobuchar, I can’t really speak to what the president has said on Twitter, he hasn’t said any of that to me.

President Trump nominated the conservative Barrett to replace liberal Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg, who recently died of cancer. Klobuchar for a second day called the hearings a “sham” and said it’s not “normal” that lawmakers are holding these hearings before the election when there is a pandemic that also needs lawmakers’ attention.
