Blue Earth County has reported 1,855 COVID 19 cases since the pandemic began. That’s according to data on the county’s website. The county says five people are currently hospitalized. There has been a total of seven deaths from covid in the county.
The cases range from those aged three months to 99 years old. The median age is 23. 46.15 percent of the county’s cases are people between the ages of 20 and 29.
19.41 percent of the cases are people between the ages of 10 and 19.
9.54 percent are those between the ages of 30 and 39.
22 percent of the cases came from community transmission with no known contact with a confirmed case. 22 percent of the county’s cases have also come from a known contact with a confirmed case. 15 percent have come from community outbreak. 13 percent are from a congregate living setting.
The ages of those who have died in Blue Earth County are between the ages of 66 and 91.
Those who have been hospitalized with COVID are aged 13-94.
