Bars and restaurants in Minnesota are continuing to implement new indoor dining guidance released by the Minnesota Department of Health. Commissioner Jan Malcolm says they are still concerned over Minnesota’s COVID-19 case numbers, but this difficult decision needed to be made.
“It’s a good example of kind of the complex balance that policy makers must struggle with. The economic impact, the job impacts, are also really important.”
Guidance now allows for parties up to 10 people inside restaurants and opened the possibility for live music to be allowed. Indoor capacity will still be capped at 250 people.
