AAA Minnesota is urging all drivers to pay attention and focus on the road. Spokeswoman Meredith Terpstra says it’s a good idea to plan for your trip…

“Before you ever leaving the parking lot or your spot or your garage, wherever it is, make sure you’ve already set your GPS, your mirrors are set, your seat is ready to go, you’ve adjusted the A/C or the heat to the temperature you want it to be.”

In Minnesota last year, 32 people died, and another 3,279 were injured in crashes involving distracted drivers according to the latest data from the Minnesota Department of Public Safety.
