South Central College to Cut Ribbon on New Lab Areas on September 25 and 28
South Central College (SCC) will hold two Ribbon Cutting Ceremonies for its two new lab areas to celebrate the contributions of donors who helped make them possible.
Both Ribbon Cuttings will take place at South Central College, but they are not open to the public.
JONES METAL WELDING LAB RIBBON CUTTING
The lab was funded through contributions from Legacy Donor (providing $100,000) – Jones Metal through the Paige Jones Richards Fund of the Mankato Area Foundation, as well as the following Key Investors (providing $20,000 each) – G & S Manufacturing, L.L.C.; Industrial Fabrication Services, Inc. (IFS); Jarraff Industries, Inc.; Plumbers Local 34 JATC and Pipefitters Local 455 JATC; and Truck Bodies & Equipment International (TBEI).
MANKATO CLINIC HEALTH SCIENCES LABS RIBBON CUTTING
Mankato Clinic and Mankato Clinic Foundation are contributing $350,000 over the next decade to support three health sciences labs and provide student scholarships.
