As we head into fall, health officials are watching what happens with COVID-19 and the seasonal flu. Minnesota Medical Association President Dr. Keith Stelter says there’s potential for a so-called “twindemic” …

“So we have to work hard to keep both of the diseases under control and I’m really stressing the need this year to get a flu shot for all of my patients of nearly any age.”

Dr. Stelter says if hospitals fill up with flu patients it could have an impact on treating coronavirus patients and vice versa. He’s urging everyone who can to get a flu shot and follow CDC and state guidelines on combatting COVID.
