President Trump and Democratic challenger Joe Biden both visited Minnesota Friday to try and bolster support and sway the undecided. Carleton College political expert Steven Schier says it’s likely we’ll see more of the candidates before the election.
“You can expect Donald Trump to camp out in Greater Minnesota between now and the election day, that’s where he thinks most of his votes can be found, I think the Biden campaign will be focusing much more on the urban areas in the hopes that that will carry him to victory.”
Vice President Mike Pence is set to be in Minneapolis on Thursday. Many of the most recent polls show Biden with a slight lead over Trump in Minnesota. The election is November 3rd.
