State health officials are reporting 931 new cases of COVID-19 today and nine additional deaths. MDH Commissioner Jan Malcolm:
“While we’re very grateful our numbers have been fairly stable as of late, just want to again remind everyone that if we see some of the impacts after Labor Day that we did after July Fourth we maybe anticipate seeing some increased case numbers in the future.”
Malcolm says they are also continuing to watch with concern the rapid growth in cases they’re seeing in neighboring states. As of today, 242 people are hospitalized with COVID-19 and 132 in ICU.
