President Trump and Democratic challenger Joe Biden are both set to visit Minnesota tomorrow and Carleton College political expert Steven Schier says the candidates’ approaches are quite different…

“In the Trump campaign you’ve got an attempt to sort of suggest, let’s try to move beyond COIVD panic and have some live rallies and so forth, the Biden campaign both in their get out the vote effort and candidate appearances is much more cautious and low-key.”

Schier says candidate visits–at least in the short-term—do boost support for about a week. So it’s possible we may see the candidates again before the election.
