COVID-19 cases are on the rise across Minnesota and it caught the attention of the White House Cornavirus Task Force. State Health Commissioner Jan Malcolm says Dr. Deborah Birx met yesterday with state officials to discuss the task force’s concerns:

“About our high rate of case growth, our rate of community transmission, and wants to be assuring us that we are in a risky situation and that every Minnesotan needs to come together share that concern and be aware of the very real risk that we face.”

Malcolm says 679 new cases of COVID were confirmed Monday.
