The state college and university system is forming a task force to examine its law enforcement education curriculum, officials say using an “anti-racism and equity-focused lens.”   Associate Vice Chancellor Satasha Green-Stephen:

“The task force will not only help to set priorities for Minnesota State regarding law enforcement education, but also has the potential to impact law enforcement across the state.”

Green-Stephen says about 86 percent of law enforcement graduates in Minnesota have their degree from a state college or university. She says Minnesota State has over 90 programs in law enforcement and related fields on 24 campuses across Minnesota.
