State officials are renewing their message to returning college students, following a COVID outbreak at Saint Olaf College in Northfield caused by an off-campus party without masks. Susan Klammer with the Minnesota Department of Health:

“To make it possible for schools to successfully open for students learning in person and to stay open, it’s going to be critically important that all members of the school community work together to follow public health guidance.”

As of Friday, state officials said they have not heard of any other COVID outbreaks at Minnesota higher education institutions.
