Minnesota Senator Amy Klobuchar has a prominent speaking position in tonight’s opening session (8-10pm CT) of the Democratic National Convention. Delegate Mary Bliesmer from North Mankato says Klobuchar would have been her choice for Democrats’ presidential candidate:

“Feel that she would have done a very good job at that, but I understand why she withdrew and endorsed Joe Biden.”

But Bliesmer adds she’s “just fine” with Biden. Delegate Kenneth McInnis  from Ham Lake says speaking positions at the Democratic National Convention are to showcase the party’s “shining stars” of tomorrow:

“I think Amy will certainly fill that bill, and who knows what’s gonna happen down the road.”
