Mankato City Manager Pat Hentges says the vast majority of bars and restaurants are doing a great job in keeping up with COVID-19 regulations. Hentges says the city has given people and establishments enough time to learn the rules.
“We’re out of the education stage and into enforcement measures,” said Hentges. “If we see mass amounts of people in the middle of a bar, not wearing face coverings, not practicing social distancing, not seated at tables, that becomes an enforcement issue that we have to take action on.”
Hentges says the establishments that aren’t following the rules makes it harder for the ones that are.
