State health officials say a person who attended the “North Star Stampede” rodeo in Itasca County was infectious with COVID-19 while at that event:
“We want to just encourage anyone who was at that North Country rodeo event to just be vigilant. Watch for symptoms. Get tested if you do develop symptoms.”
Health Commissioner Jan Malcolm is urging anyone who was at the rodeo to limit public activities as much as possible for the next 14 days. Officials are trying to determine who the infected individual had contact with during the event.
