Blue Earth County reported its fourth COVID-19 death on Monday. The Minnesota Department of Health says the person was a long-term care facility residents between 70-79 years old. It was one of two deaths reported by MDH. There has now been 24 consecutive days of single-digit COVID-19 deaths in the state. It was the lowest single-day death total in Minnesota since the state reported no deaths on April 13th.
