Mankato Area Public Schools (Independent School District No. 77) will hold its election on Tuesday, November 3, 2020. Four school board seats are open and have terms of four years. Elected candidates would take office January 1, 2021. The filing period for the election opens 7 a.m., Tuesday, July 28, 2020, and closes at 5 p.m., Tuesday, August 11, 2020.

Candidates who wish to place their names on the ballot may access the necessary form online or pick it up in the Mankato Area Public Schools’ Deputy Clerk’s office in Suite 2 of the Intergovernmental Center, 10 Civic Center Plaza. Packets will be available Monday, July 13 and submissions will be accepted beginning July 28. Office hours are 7 a.m. to 4 p.m., Monday through Friday. There is a $2 filing fee for school district office.
