Some positive numbers were reported in Wednesday’s COVID-19 report from the Minnesota Department of Health. MDH Commissioner Jan Malcom says the seven-day positive test rate has increased over the previous week, but only slightly.
“The average positivity rate was three-point-seven percent, which was a little above the three-point-three percent over the previous seven days, but still well within the good range,” said Malcom.
Malcom says the state’s ICU COVID-19 totals are the lowest in two months
“There are 260 COVID-19 patients in the hospital, including 125 in the ICU,” said Malcom. “That’s the lowest ICU total since the end of April.”
MDH reported four COVID-19 deaths Wednesday, the lowest one-day total since April 13th.
