A North Mankato man is facing nine charges after authorities responded to a report of a stabbing in Mankato last week. Blue Earth County court records say 28-year-old Tyler Wolters has been charged with first-degree burglary with a dangerous weapon or explosive, first-degree burglary while assaulting an individual or entering a building, second-degree assault, five counts of fifth-degree assault, driving while intoxicated and interference with a peace officer. Authorities say Wolters is accused of stabbing an individual, attempting to enter a home, which he did not reside, assaulting a hospital security guard, and refusing to submit to a chemical test.
