The state of Minnesota says it has reached the Governor’s “moonshot” goal of 20-thousand COVID-19 tests per day. Governor Walz acknowledged there’s a lot more work to do so.

“We’re certainly not taking a victory lap,” said Walz. “But we’re acknowledging the work that has been done to allow us to reach this point. But the virus is here so it’s something that we’re going to have to manage for a long time.”

Walz says nearly six hundred thousand tests have been administered statewide since the start of the pandemic.
