Remains found in Barron County, Wisconsin in December of 2017 has now been identified as a New Prague Man. The Barron County Sheriff’s Office announced Tuesday the victim has been identified as 63-year-old Gary Herbst. The sheriff’s office says they worked in conjunction with the Wisconsin Department of Justice and the DNA Doe Project to identify the individual. Authorities are now investigating the case as a homicide.
