Police reform is expected to be discussed in St. Paul during the special session of the Minnesota legislature. State Representative Jeremy Munson of Lake Crystal says they need to make it easier for departments to get rid of bad cops.

“We need to address the few bad actors in the police force,” said Munson. “Instead of using arbitration, we need to use administrative law judges as a different means to hear cases of people who are terminated. I believe that would be a better way.”

The special session began Friday.
