Minnesota lawmakers will head back to work (Friday) for a special session. State Senator Nick Frentz of North Mankato expects a variety of issues to be discussed. Frentz says it’s more important to do things right than to do things quickly.
“Dramatic change should not be rushed,” said Frentz. “You usually don’t make your best decisions while in a hurry. Having said that I’m open-minded and I’m just one of 201 lawmakers.”
Frentz says racial equality, economic recovery, how to distribute the federal stimulus money, and the bonding bill are among the issues expected to be discussed.
