A racial equity forum will be held (Wednesday) night. The forum will be hosted on Senator Nick Frentz’s Facebook page.

“What we want to hear from our panelists is what’s their take on where we’ve been and where do we want to go,” said Frentz. “Bukata Hayes made a great point. He said those that want change don’t all agree on what change we should have. This will be a great opportunity to share ideas on moving forward. That’s democracy.”

The panel will include Greater Mankato Diversity Council Executive Director Bukata Hayes, Mankato Public Safety Director Amy Vokal, Mankato Mayor Najwa Massad, and former MSU Student Government President Anisa Omar. The forum will be held from six until seven-15 and will be broadcast live on KTOE.
