Last month Tobacco-21 went into effect. You now have to be 21 to purchase tobacco products, electronic cigarettes, and other nicotine products. Pat McKone with the American Lung Association says the work isn’t over:

“Well I think in this battle there is always more to do. And the really big one is going to be about taking flavored tobacco products off the market.”

McKone says:

“There is just no place for bubble gum flavored e-juice or you know dragon breath or cherry little cigars.”

Studies show that nearly all tobacco users start before the age of 21.
