The COVID-19 related economic downturn will prevent the city of Mankato from doing things they wanted to do this year.

“We’re going to talk about the budget and how we’re going to move forward on June 15th,” said Mankato Mayor Najwa Massad.

Massad said prior to the pandemic the city was having a good year. She says the city has to be smart in how the city budgets and prioritizes what needs to be done.
