A stormy night around southern Minnesota. The National Weather Service says there were reports of a tornado near Garden City shortly after five p.m.

Then, about 20 minutes laterm there were multiple reports of a tornado north of Mapleton. Then at 5:45 there was a report of a tornado near Waldorf according to the National Weather Service.

Lake Crystal had reports of street flooding and hail around the size of golf balls.

Powerful images also out of Pemberton with hail and downed tree branches.

Downed tree branches were also reported near New Richland

Tornado warning sirens were in effect for Blue Earth and Waseca Counties until about 6:00 last night.

About 1,000 households went without power near Rapidan according to BENCO Electric.
