Minnesota Senate Majority Leader Paul Gazelka says we need to get down to the real work of preventing deaths like George Floyd’s. He says the violence that was allowed to spill over several nights last week were a significant roadblock to that work.
“The first thing that you have to do is stop lawlessness, and then it spread around the whole country. When you see that you destroy all these things, its very sad that we lost perspective on actually having a real conversation about what’s happening.”
Gazelka told MNN affiliate KTLK a majority of those speaking out had no desire for destruction, and those are the people that need to be heard in this conversation.
