This past weekend, the Minnesota National Guard conducted COVID-19 testing at six armories around the state. MDH Commissioner Jan Malcom says the number of tests provided to Minnesotans was better than expected.

“The Guard provided close to ten thousand tests at those six sites,” said Malcom. “We were hoping more around six-thousand, six-hundred on the top end.”

Malcom says they haven’t been able to analyze the results but hinted there could be similar type testing efforts in the near future.
