Health clubs in Minnesota could open along with dine-in restaurants in June. Mark Hennessey, executive director of the Minnesota Alliance of YMCA’s says health and cleanliness is nothing new for them.
“We’ve been doing it for years and years and years, and we’re just going to do more of it, more frequently at all different times of the day to really keep people as safe as possible.”
Hennessey says clubs around the state are in frequent contact with local health officials sharing their plans for reopening. He believes whenever the green-light is given, they will be ready to open their doors and people will be eager to make the gym a part of their routine again.
