The COVID-19 pandemic has crippled many of the state’s nonprofits. Jon Pratt is executive director of the Minnesota Council of Nonprofits:

“As you would expect 88-percent of the communities they serve they’re seeing severe impacts and substantial disruption by 80-percent of the organizations that their operations, the people they serve, their own budgets have been affected.”

Pratt says despite the trying times, Minnesotans have stepped up to the plate to help those in need.
